Student Comments I met a lot of wonderful people, and it was really refreshing to be with other amazingly talented individuals who share my passion for the subject.

Connecting intellectually and socially with faculty and older students was an amazing experience; we really learned about all the possibilities available to us as Stanford undergraduates.

Having intellectual discussions outside of my class- awesome! It was really wonderful to be in a small class, and to take just one class.

Having just one class, on which everyone was focused on, really bonded the group closely. My professor was really engaged with us, and

extremely open to conversation about class, about college, or anything.

Sophomore College got me back into the intellectual mindset. SoCo was one of the best experiences of my life.

I truly enjoyed every day. I loved connecting with all of my fellow students, inside and outside of the classroom. My professor was a great teacher and one of the coolest people I have ever met.

I got really excited about my research project, so that it not only helped me get ready for the research and writing I will be doing in sophomore year, but it made me think about subjects I might want to continue to research.

I loved getting to know the students in my Sophomore College seminar, both in the classroom and outside in social situations like field trips or living in the dorm.

Connecting with a small group of students socially and intellectually was absolutely amazing and

went far beyond anything I expected from Sophomore College.

It was a great opportunity to connect with a diverse group of people who live all around campus and are studying very different things. It made me feel very confident and excited t o get b ack i nto sophomore y ear.

The field trips contrasted but still connected with our intellectual discussion and made me remember to look at the bigger picture and to really consider how ideas are applied in the world.

The professor was deeply engaged with his students and wanted not only to teach but to discuss. He wanted to understand where we came from and get to know us each on a personal level.
