Creating the best Seafront and Promenade in the UK
Blackpool's Promenade has undergone a transformation over the past four years. The final phase of the work has seen the completion of the new sea defences, a new tramway laid, an iconic wedding chapel created, an outdoor events arena for 20,000, must see public art and new pedestrian access to the Promenade.
We are pleased to announce the opening of the new public spaces; St Chads and Waterloo Headlands, Tower Festival Headland, The Comedy Carpet and Festival House incorporating the Tourist Information Centre and Register Office, that is due to open mid January 2012.
