Olympians


Brown women’s ice hockey has had seven players compete in the Winter Olympic Games. Forward Katie King ’97 of the United States and her former teammate, defenseman Becky Kellar ’97 of Canada have represented their countries three times — at the 1998 Nagano Games, the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, and the 2006 Torino Games. Tara Mounsey ’02.5 is a veteran of the 1998 and 2002 Games for the U.S. team, while Chie Chie Sakuma ’94 (Japan – 1998), Kathleen Kauth ’01, Kim Insalaco ’03 and Pam Dreyer ’03 (United States – 2006) have all participated in the Games once.
