Robert Marchman is Executive Vice President & Head of Market Regulation Department’s Legal Group of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Marchman was honored at The Community Coalition on Race 15th Anniversary Dinner Celebrating Integration Diversity & Inclusion. At FINRA Marchman serves as liaison to the CEO for the diversity and inclusion management initiative. Before joining FINRA he managed the New York Stock Exchange Regulation’s Enforcement Division and Regulatory Risk Group. Marchman was Chairman of NYSE Diversity Council. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, is a magna cum laude graduate of Allegheny College, and attended Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.


Sharon Bridges, current gen- eral counsel and immediate past vice president of the National Bar Association, the nation’s oldest and largest national association of predominantly African American lawyers and judges, has joined the law fi rm of Adams and Reese as a litigation partner in the fi rm’s Jackson, Mississippi offi ce. Bridges is an attor- ney practicing in a complex litigation with signifi cant experience in mass tort, product liability, medical malpractice, long-term care, and commercial litigation. She formerly served as associate general coun- sel for Tulane University Medical Center and received her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Morris Brown College in Atlanta.

Michelle N. Lipkowitz has joined Saul Ewing LLP’s Baltimore offi ce as a partner in the litigation department. She will represent clients in the fi nancial, retail, and tele- communications industries in litigation involving contrac- tual disputes, shareholder disputes, consumer class actions, mortgage fraud, lender liability, and construc- tion and products liability. In addition, she is adept at handling bankruptcy issues, check fraud, and claims arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as well as state and federal corporate, securities, commercial, and consumer laws. Lipkowitz received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, and her bach- elor’s degree, cum laude, from Harvard University.

Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board


President Obama appointed Ron McCray to serve as a member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board. A private investor and corporate director, McCray also serves on the board of directors of A. H. Belo, the board of trustees for Cornell University, and is a member of the visiting committee of the Harvard Law School as well as the executive board of SMU Dedman School of Law. Previously, he served as a director of Knight Ridder, Inc., from 2003- 2006. He worked for Nike, Inc., as chief administrative offi cer from 2007-2009. He graduated from Cornell University in 1979, and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1983, where he served as the editor and business manager of the Harvard Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Law Review.
