About BOFA Our history
The company was started by Dave Cornell in 1987. Early opportunities within the electronics sector led to him introducing the first comprehensive three stage filtration unit within the UK, where filtered air is then re-circulated back into the working environment.
With the 1990 introduction of new COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations demand for fume extraction soared. The boost in sales enabled the company to move from a converted garage to its first industrial factory.
Today the company operates from two locations. Manufacturing and International sales are managed from our UK, Poole facility where we have over 30,000sq.ft. of factory space and employ more than 100 staff. Located in Chicago USA, BOFA Americas operates as a sales, service and distribution facility serving both North and South American markets.
