‘Barbara Streisland!’ It takes a special kind of talent to make an entire dance track out of repeating the name of one of the few artists to have won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony award, but then Duck Sauce, aka old school house head Armand Van Helden (who helped invent speed garage with his remix of Sugar Pimp’s ‘Spin Spin Sugar’) and youngest ever DMC champ A-Trak, have their own cabinets –metaphysically, if not literally – full of awards and accolades.

Top of their chart is DJ Mehdi, no doubt in tribute to the French artist who sadly recently passed away. Keeping it French, there are also Daft Punk’s classic remix of I:Cube alongside Surkin’s superb ‘Ultra Light’, recently a Killer tune in DJmag. Maybe it’s the fact that A-Trak is from Montreal that they love the French so much, but just so the rest of Europe doesn’t feel left out they’ve also plumped for Jan Driver (Germany), Tom Trago (Holland) and Hijack (the good ‘ol UK).
