Montana Appreciation Day In appreciation of our Montana patrons, Moonlight Basin is offering a special day ticket of $20. Must show a valid Montana driver’s license or ID from a Montana college or university to receive this special rate.


Family Night with Moonlight Moonlight Basin is a place where families come together. Join us at the Madison Village Base Area to enjoy night sledding, fun crafts, games and make your own pizzas.

NSAA Safety Week Moonlight Basin participates in the NSAA Safety Week by promoting safety around the mountain and will visit local schools to talk about safety.


Moonlight Basin Level One Avalanche Course Moonlight Basin Ski Patrol offers a comprehensive three day avalanche level one certification class based on the American Avalanche Association’s Level One guidelines.
