Planning Your Kitchen
The layout of your kitchen needs to complement your lifestyle. When planning, first take a look at your existing kitchen layout and consider what you like about it and what could be improved... Do you have enough storage? Do you desire a luxuriously large sink or prefer a neat, tucked away one? Are you a master chef? We’d like you to tell us exactly what your dream kitchen would incorporate.
Before you select and order your kitchen, we recommend the following steps to ensure you get the complete kitchen just right:
• First up, carefully measure your room and sketch a plan of it. Measuring accuracy is key here to ensure your chosen kitchen fits perfectly.
• Next, list all the fitments and appliances you want and plan their position in the space available. To create a practical and safe kitchen, it’s best to plan around a ‘work triangle’ – please see page 114 for full, easy-to-follow details.
• When you visit your local Wickes store enlist the aid of a Design Consultant – they’re always on hand to help make your dream kitchen a reality!
But What Will it Cost?
We all have a budget in mind when planning an exciting new project. To help you choose the best kitchen to suit your needs, we have priced all our kitchens using an 8 unit format. This allows you to compare kitchens and select the right one for your budget.
So whatever your kitchen style we have a kitchen to suit your budget and we know you’re going to love the end result.
Typical 8 unit example kitchen includes:
2 x 500mm Wall Units 1 x 1000mm Wall Unit 1 x 1000mm Base Unit 1 x 500mm Base Unit 1 x 500mm Drawer Unit 1 x 600mm Larder Unit 1 x 600mm Under Oven Housing Unit
