PLAYING THE NAME GAME it seems there are some people you just don’t want to get on the wrong side of – and we’re not talking fat slugs here. The Guardian newspaper reported last month of a disgruntled customer of Yorkshire bank who maybe took things a little bit too far after being charged £20 for a £10 overdraft. Michael Howard, 30, of Leeds was so offended by the

extra charge that he changed his name by deed poll to... Yorkshire bank PLc Are Fascist bastards. the bank, naturally, then asked him to close his

account. He duly did so but what they didn’t count on was

Mr bastards asking them to repay the 69p balance, by cheque, made out in his new name. Sweet.

BEEN HAD the Daily Mail reported last month that Sarah beeny, the presenter of channel 4’s restoration nightmares, ironically suffered her own restoration nightmare. the smug presenter that is often dishing out harsh

criticism to wannabe property developers on her show, reportedly forgot to get planning permission for her own development. the Daily Mail says that the presenter didn’t get planning permission when she transformed her home from a 97-room former convent ten years ago. Whoops.
