All Vi-Spring mattresses are available with softer, medium, or firmer springing to ensure each sleeper has the correct levels of posture support and comfort.

Our top of the range pocket spring mattresses are hand made using individually pocketed virgin steel springs and fillings including soft cotton, lambswool and horse-hair. They are then covered with finest Belgian ticking.

The springs provide posture support while the different upholstery fillings offer cushioning and comfort while you sleep.

Quality from the base up

The bed base provides the support for your mattress. If you select one of our bedsteads, we can build a fully sprung base, or install specially sprung beech-wood slats to support the mattress. Alternatively, we can provide a custom-made divan base for your existing bed, complete with storage drawers if required.

Even the edges of our bases and divans are sprung before being upholstered by our experienced craftsmen, to ensure the best possible comfort and support.

It is vital that you get the right amount of support from your mattress. If it is too firm, it can be uncomfortable and prevent you from sleeping. Too soft, and you could wake up with back ache.
