HIGH-ADVENTURE CLASS III-V RAPIDS
FALL LOWER GAULEY
This section of the Gauley is jam-packed with big-water rapids, ranging from Class III-V - a raft guide favorite. Often considered a stepping-stone to the Upper Gauley, it is by no means tame. Don’t be fooled by the spectacular scenery. There is high energy and whitewater excitement around every bend. This is our most challenging trip recommended for first-timers and has a minimum age of 12 to give our younger enthusiasts a taste of the Gauley spray. And for the bigger kids, sometimes you have to approach the Gauley with baby steps, so put one foot in front of the other and start your adventure here.
