Healthy debate Physicians, lawmakers work for Texans’ health
Then-TMA President Susan Rudd Bailey, MD, spoke at a Texas Public Health Coalition press conference during the First Tuesdays at the Capitol event in March. She spread the message that the coalition’s legislative focus on preventing obesity and tobacco use would enable Texas to save money and save lives.
