Great Yarmouth has more independently run hotels than branded establishments and all are graded from four star to two star. As a general rule, hotels are likely to have at least twenty rooms, and in Great Yarmouth, up to sixty rooms. Hotels have to be licensed and offer dinner at least five nights a week, all rooms must be en suite or have private bathrooms. Hotels with higher star ratings will offer room service 24/7 and a permanently staffed reception area. The AA can also award hotels with restaurants AA rosettes to signify excellent cooking.
