The Swift R & D Team has developed a unique process to produce state of the art composite kayaks utilizing pressure moulding technology. The Swift Fusion process eliminates laminate porosity and assures a perfect “wet out” of the laminate. This process creates a part with a high cloth to resin ratio resulting in a laminate that is stronger and lighter than a hand laid or vacuum bagged boat. Swift Fusion kayaks also have the cleanest finish in the industry.


Hybrid Fusion


Swift Hybrid Fusion kayaks are constructed with layers and pieces of fiberglass and Kevlar cloth sandwiching a high performance, marine core. The laminate is fused together with a flexible, impact resistant Epoxy Vinylester Resin creating a kayak that has a high strength to weight ratio. Hybrid Fusion kayaks are finished with Coloured Decks and a Champagne Hull.


Swift Hybrid Fusion kayaks are ideal for paddlers that want a high strength, light kayak for day paddling and touring.


Kevlar Fusion


Swift Kevlar Fusion kayaks are constructed with layers and pieces of S-glass and Kevlar cloth sandwiching a high performance, marine foam core. The laminate is fused together with a flexible, impact resistant Epoxy Vinylester Resin creating a kayak that has our highest strength to weight ratio ever. Kevlar Fusion kayaks have Coloured Decks and a Clear Kevlar finish to the hull. The hulls can also have a champagne gel finish.


Swift Kevlar Fusion kayaks are ideal for paddlers that demand a high strength, lightweight boat for day paddling and touring.


Carbon Fusion


Swift Carbon Fusion kayaks are constructed with layers and pieces of Carbon, S-glass and Kevlar cloth sandwiching a high performance, marine foam core. The laminate is fused together with a flexible, impact resistant Epoxy Vinylester Resin creating a kayak that is our lightest ever. Carbon Fusion kayaks are available with a clear Carbon or coloured deck with a carbon cloth finish to the hull. The hull can also have a Champagne gel finish.


Swift Carbon Fusion kayaks are the ideal choice for those who want an incredibly light and attractive performance kayak.
