performance but also has superb accommodation. Princess V52 was launched earlier this year and this is a lady with some serious power, capable of delivering an adrenalin-pumping ride. Engine configurations differ across continents; in Europe Volvo D11’s are standard whilst in the US, twin Caterpillar C12 ACERT give slightly more horsepower. The result is close to 1500 BHP and a top speed of about 35 knots. This is exceptionally quick for a fully fitted yacht of over 50 feet.
