Terms and Shipping Charges Contiguous United States: Our business terms to public schools and institutions are net 30 days with a valid purchase order and account in good standing, F.O.B. Vernon Hills, IL or shipping point. Shipping charges for orders within the contiguous United States requiring no international shipping documents are 12% ($7 minimum) of the order. All orders from individuals can be processed if accompanied by check, money order, or credit card information (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). When ordering, specify “inside delivery” if needed. An additional minimum fee will be applied to inside deliveries based on total weight. 500 lb to 999 lb = $75; 1,000 lb to 2,499 lb = $125; 2,500 lb to 4,999 lb = $175; 5,000 lb+ = $225.
Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada: Shipping charges for orders to these locations are 20% ($20 minimum) of the order. If the actual shipping charges for your order exceed 20% of your order total, you will be contacted for additional payment. Orders may take as long as 6–8 weeks for delivery. All orders from individuals can be processed if accompanied by check, money order, or credit card information (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).
All other locations: ETA/Cuisenaire will ship your order if it is a minimum of $1,000.00 US Dollars. Orders will be shipped to your freight forwarder or parcel carrier within the contiguous United States per your direction. Prepayment of the order total plus a 20% shipping and handling fee is required for the assembly of your order. If the actual shipping charges for your order exceed 20% of your order total, you will be contacted for additional payment. You are responsible for clearing the products through customs, and any charges for customs and duties are the responsibility of you, the customer, and your agents. Prepayment can be made using credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) or through a bank wire transfer. Please allow up to 5 business days for the processing of bank wire transfers.
Prices Prices are those in effect at the date of shipment and are subject to change without notice. However, authorization to ship is generally requested if a price increase exceeds 15%. In the rare event of an error in price, picture, or description, ETA/Cuisenaire will attempt to notify you prior to processing your order.
Delivery All orders are processed as rapidly as possible. In order to expedite shipments, if an item you've ordered is currently unavailable, we may contact you with suggested alternatives. Additionally, we may occasionally alter designs and specifications or make substitutions—all items will be of equal or greater quality and educational value. If a delivery deadline is very close, we may select any of these alternatives without prior notice. If merchandise is temporarily out of stock, the item(s) will be backordered and shipped as soon as possible.
Returns If for any reason you are not pleased with your merchandise, write, e-mail, or call Customer Service at 800-445-5985 or
info@etacuisenaire.com. Have your packing list available. Merchandise that does not meet your approval may be returned in resalable condition within 30 days of receipt of shipment for credit or exchange. Computer software and videotapes may be returned only if they are unopened and in resalable condition. Defective software or videotapes may be exchanged for an identical item. Before returning any merchandise, be sure to call our Customer Service Returns Department to receive a return authorization number to include with your return documents.
Receipt of Shipment/Customer Responsibility Before signing the delivery receipt, check for shortages in the carton count and for any visible damage to the cartons. Note shortages or carton damage on your receipt and have the driver do likewise. Keep the original shipping cartons that show the damage. Do not destroy them! Immediately notify our office and the delivery carrier of the problem. We will replace damaged goods at minimal inconvenience to you.
