Golf Classics in
ounty Donegal has established an enviable reputation for its calendar of
great value open amateur golf classics. Featuring the county’s spectacular inventory of classic links and parkland courses, the 2011 programme covers six events from May through to September. It is 25 years since the West Coast Challenge was inaugurated and its success encouraged other clubs in the county to prepare packages in their own localities. Competitors must hold official handicaps from their respective governing body. Each of the events has a generous prize fund and individual and team prize categories.
