1% for the Y
Diamond Brand believes in the mission and vision of the YMCA, so this holiday season we’ll begin a new effort, donating 1% of our sales to the YMCA of WNC. This program will run from Friday, November 26 through Christmas Eve. We hope that this donation will provide more opportunities for the local youth that the YMCA serves. Since we all have been affected by these uncertain economic times, we hope this contribution will be something that makes the holidays a little bit brighter and cheerier for Western North Carolina families. Diamond Brand supports the YMCA in a number of different ways, offering financial support as a Gold
Level Partner and providing manpower and service time for key programs such as the Strong Kids Campaign and Y After 5. In addition, Diamond Brand lends its expertise whenever it is needed, through efforts like its kayak clinics, Family Float Trips as part of the Y’s Healthy Family Home Program, and with camp equipment donations for the Y’s overnight campouts. With childhood obesity at an all-time high and youth outdoor participation at an all-time low, fewer
children live an active and healthy life. By partnering with the YMCA, we are supporting programs that encourage kids and their families to get active and enjoy the outdoors. Being healthy is a gift and it’s something we want our community to have.
