It might not be out until the 8th of November, but we’re already waiting with bated breath for the second album, ‘White Rainbow’, from Glaswegian Sei A. For a start, there’s the fact that his fi rst album, 2008’s ‘Editing Shadows’, took techno and house down a very, long dark tunnel, twisting everything into the kind of shadowy, nightmarish forms that sound great at 4am on a messy night out. Then there’s his recent remixes, including a


massive bass driven mutation of Olibusta’s ‘Red Counter’ on Paris’ Get the Curse. Finally there’s the fact that he’s now signed to Turbo, the label run by the irrepressibly droll Tiga and his brother Thomas Von Party. Add to that the fact he does his own vocals, and counts everyone from John Digweed to Laurent Garnier, amongst his fans, and you have another serious talent from a city steeped in techno tradition.
