Under District of Columbia law, The HSC Pediatric Center (formerly known as the Hospital for Sick Children) will make available $312,000 in Uncompensated Care Funds between January 1, 2010 and Decem- ber 31, 2010. All uncompensated Care obligations for fiscal 2009 have been satisfied. Uncompensated Care will be available to all persons unable to pay who request and/or qualify for uncompensated care services per our policy. All services of the facility will be available for uncompensated care.

A person is eligible to receive uncompensated services if they are unable to pay and are not insured for services they receive that are not covered under a third party insurance or a governmental program. The person must make a request for the services and provide information to support eligibility for uncompensated care or be deemed eligible per our existing policies that identify indigence status.

We invite interested parties to comment on this allocation plan.

The District of Columbia Office of Public Education Facilities Modern- ization (OPEFM) is seeking proposals from architects who wish to be considered to provide architectural/engineering services for the renovation of the Reno/Rose building located at 4820 Howard Street, NW,Washington,DC 20016.
