Harvardsquare.com launches for mobile
The Harvard Square Business Association (HSBA) has launched a mobile version of www.harvardsquare.com—the essential guide for visitors to this world renowned historic destination. The mission of the HSBA, founded in 1910, is to promote commerce in Harvard Square. The Harvard Square Business Association contracted the Atom Group, a full-service web development agency, to create a clean, simple and intuitive mobile site that encapsulated www.harvardsquare.com in a format designed for the latest mobile versions of the iPhone, Android and Blackberry.

Local chef to compete on Food Network
Congrats to Harvest Chef Mary Dumont, who will appear on the Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef.” Hosted by Alton Brown and filmed in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York City, season three premieres Sunday, October 3 at 9 p.m. and “challenges the chefs’ culinary skills and mental toughness as they enter a clash of culinary titans.” No a stranger to competition, Dumont comes with Iron Chef experience, having battled Cat Cora on Iron Chef America in 2006.
UpStairs on the Square seeks anecdotes
The proprietors of UpStairs on the Square, Mary-Catherine Deibel & Deborah Hughes, are writing a book about partnership and hospitality over three decades and are looking for personal anecdotes about experiences at the restaurant. Any reminiscences will be welcomed as they tell their story through the experience and eyes of customers, vendors, employees and guests.
