Conclusion


An analysis was performed of heat transfer from castings into shell moulds and into the surroundings. Experimental measure-


ment of temperature fields in a model example of a system of cylindrical castings was carried out. The aim of the measure- ment was to verify the calculations of temperature fields estab- lished by numerical simulation using the ProCast software.
