All of our efforts are focused on improving and enhancing Downtown’s business environment through one of these avenues so that we can attract and retain businesses. From drawing crowds to the Parade of Lights and A Taste of Colorado to planning for infrastructure updates to 16th Street Mall and creating proactive retail development plans, the Downtown Denver Partnership is at the heart of issues that impact Downtown… and your business.
Our Leadership There are four Boards of Directors that fall under the
Downtown Denver Partnership umbrella: Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc., Denver Civic Ventures, Downtown Denver Incorporated and Downtown Denver Events.

If it’s happening in Downtown, we’re involved! As a private non-profit, membership-based organization, the Downtown Denver Partnership creatively plans and manages Downtown Denver as the vibrant and economically healthy urban core of the Rocky Mountain region. Our goal is to help foster an environment where a diverse spectrum of businesses will flourish.
In addition, the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID) contracts with the Downtown Denver Partnership to manage its work program, which includes WayFinder signage, clean and safe programs, district marketing and overall management of the mile-long 16th Street Mall. The BID is operated independently from the Downtown Denver Partnership, and has a separate board of directors.
Downtown Denver Partnership Boards Downtown Denver Partnership, Inc. The DDP Board focuses on creatively planning, managing and developing Downtown Denver as the unique, diverse, vibrant and economically healthy urban core of the Rocky Mountain region.
Downtown Denver Inc. (DDI) DDI is the membership entity that cultivates private sector leadership and develops and implements programs to enhance Downtown Denver’s business, cultural and residential environment.
Denver Civic Ventures (DCV) DCV is the charitable public purpose arm, which mobilizes resources to implement civic design and development initiatives.
Downtown Denver Events The Partnership’s community events non-profit organization that organizes, conducts, promotes and sponsors public parades, festivals, concerts, exhibits and other events within the downtown Denver area that celebrate, encourage, foster and promote cultural diversity, community pride and understanding of and appreciation
