ABOUT ANDRA TX

Andratx is one of the most well known regions of the popular Balearic island of Mallorca. Situated on the sunny southwest of the island, the municipality of Andratx offers a region of approximately 80 km2

of landscape and touristic high-

lights, nowhere else to be found on the island. With areas such as Camp de Mar, Sant Elm, S´Arraco, Andratx, Sa Coma and, of course, the romantic harbour of Puerto de Andratx, the region appears very unambiguous but could not be more different. This diversity makes the southwest of Mallorca and the municipality of Andratx so immensely attractive.

Puerto de Andratx is the most beautiful natural harbour on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. The contrasts of the area are apparent between the small typical fishing boats natural to the harbour, being still an active fishing port, and the million-euro luxury yachts moored at the exclusive Yacht Club “Club de Vela”. The contrasts are also obvious between the fishermen, many prominent owners of villas, apartments and penthouses and the countlessyear-round holidaymakers giving the harbour its bustling atmosphere. The restaurants, bars and shops in Puerto de Andratx are open all year round and due to the small number of hotels located in the Port it is spared from mass tourism. The exclusive residential areas in Puerto de Andratx, La Mola, Cala Marmacen, LasBrisas, Cala Llamp, Cala Mor- agues, CanBorras and Mont Port give the harbourits international flairblended in perfectly in the Mediterranean environment.
