learning, and constantly getting better.

auditions come and you’re putting yourself out there to be judged, you better know who you are and what you’re capable of. If things don’t go your way, it’s important to “that you don’t allow other people to define who you are as much as you try to keep the


definition to yourself,” Kapelos continues, “Try not to have other people validate you…you [only] get validated when you get parts.” Kapelos recommends that “to be honest with yourself and to be true to who you are, I think, is the greatest gift an actor can give themselves.”
