4 NEWS The latest on what’s going down in the outdoor industry

10 NEW PRODUCTS Two pages of the latest gear

his is a slightly light issue of SGB Outdoor as we’re in the middle of preparing for a big change. As of next issue, the magazine is splitting back into two and SGB Outdoor is going digital, so you’ll be able to

read the magazine online. This is great for a number of reasons: we save on paper, so less tress are destroyed; no delivery required outside of your email inbox, so no fossil fuels etc destroyed either; and we can have as many pages as we want, for as many products and features as we want. It’s win-win, if you ask me. We will be producing print magazines for major exhibitions, but that’s all. It’s a great thing environmentally, and it also means we can be more interactive with our readers, and have a bit more fun, too.

We’ll have a dedicated website as well as the online magazine (which is very cool – you click on the

corner to turn the page and everything. Very slick!), and we’re planning to do some video blogging and plenty of other cool stuff too. It also means we can include video and audio on the pages of the magazine, so expect product demos and other useful items.

Any questions? Drop me an email to jonbruford@yahoo.co.uk or call 01584 877177. In the meantime, enjoy the weather, and we’ll see you in Friedrichshafen at OutDoor!
