Simulation Explorer
The BETT Award-winning Simulation Explorer introduces children to computer simulations that represent real and imaginary situations. It allows them to try things that would be difficult or impossible to do in practice – giving a real purpose for using ICT.
The six activities have been designed to engage children with fun activities and graphics that are relevant and stimulating. Children can explore the simulations, make changes to the conditions and observe the results. The additional worksheets and extension ideas embedded in the CD-ROM help children evaluate the simulations and identify the rules and patterns on which they are based.
