Maggie had been to many VW shows and always came home raving about the cars and Mark listened attentively. He admitted he wouldn’t mind building a Buggy so Maggie challenged him to build a one. Mark fell in love with the idea of being able to build unique cars and, as word spread of his skills, the requests to build Buggies grew and Flatland Engineering was born.
