SEMINARS

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Preparing for your First Teaching Post

Newly qualifying in 2010? Nationwide seminars for new teachers

All newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are invited to attend the Union’s free Preparing for Your First Teaching Post one-day seminars, which are taking place across the UK this August.

These events offer NQTs all the advice and support they need to go into their first teaching job feeling confident and prepared.

The programme includes practical training on behaviour management, know your rights guidance and an update on the topical issues that teachers are likely to face when starting their careers.

Feedback from previous attendees has demonstrated how valuable they have found the seminars, so early booking is essential to guarantee a place.

For details of venues and dates, see the NASUWT website at www.nasuwt.org.uk where you can also book a place online.
