AFTER 10 YEARS at the top of his game King Unique, aka Matt Thomas, is still going strong. His latest release for Bedrock, ‘2 Million Suns’/’Feniksas’, sees two recent tracks sliced, diced and reassembled, the first tackled by none other than label boss John Digweed, alongside Nick Muir, turning it into a freakish piece of techno-psychedelia while on the other side Fergie opts for bass-driven techno.

It’s not just his own tracks though that have been wearing out soles on the dancefloor. King Unique’s Soundcloud is currently showcasing his deadly arsenal of bootlegs, such as his ‘Fatale Feeling’ bootleg (a mix of Layo & Bushwacka’s ‘Femme Fatale’ and Shit Robot’s ‘I Got a Feeling’) that Sasha and Digweed dropped on their boat party at WMC.
