MPS/UPS (TLR2a for a candidate with potential to take on responsibility for drama within the school)

An excellent classroom practitioner is required to teach in this outstanding school. You will have the potential to deliver up to A level. English is one of the many strengths at this school, with high numbers opting for A Level.
As well as a healthy extra-curricular programme and courses at KS4, Drama is being introduced into the KS3 curriculum for September. For the right candidate the potential exists to shape future drama delivery in all key stages. There are a range of extra curricular performances during the year.
Food Technology Teacher
MPS/UPS (Temporary one year contract in the first instance circa 0.5 FTE)

A classroom practitioner is required to teach in this outstanding school. You will have the potential to deliver Food Technology in KS3 and KS4, and preferably be able to contribute to other aspects of the technology curriculum of KS3.
Art Technician
Start date: 7th June 2010
Grade 4 - £16,440 - £18,453 (dependent upon experience) | 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
You will be required to provide technician support to the art department, through the preparation of materials, creation of displays, supporting the students and general house keeping. You must be able to work in a team as well as independently.
Pastoral Administration Assistant
Grade 3 - £14,733 to £16,440 pro rata (dependent upon experience) | 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Start date is anticipated to be beginning of June.
You will be required to provide administrative support to the pastoral team, especially Heads of House and Cross Year Coordinator, and to support the work in a wider sense of the pastoral team. You will be expected to work independently, with the students and staff, to carry out other duties such as investigating minor incidents and supporting students as a first port of call.
