30 Commitments
At 30 January 2010 contracts had been entered into for future capital expenditure of £32.8m (2009: £49.6m).
John Lewis plc continues to provide lease guarantees in favour of the group’s former associate company, Ocado Limited, of £6.8m (2009: £6.8m).

32 Related party transactions
The group has entered into an arrangement with the Pension Scheme Trustee to address an element of the current scheme deficit. Full details of this arrangement are set out in note 25.
