The battle begins
On May 6, around 240,000 teachers and tens of thousands more support staff from secondary schools across the UK will head to the polls and will have a major influence in what promises to be the closest General Election in years. This special election edition of SecEd focuses on the crucial part that education will have to play in the campaign. We have spent the past eight weeks compiling key election questions from you, our readers, and putting these to the would-be education ministers from the three main parties. Their answers make fascinating reading and are a must-read before you cast your vote in three weeks’ time.
