American Indian Foods
he American Indian Foods (AIF) Export Program, through the Intertribal Agriculture Council (IAC), assists in marketing products produced by
Tribes or individual Native Americans Indians. IAC focuses on promoting the In- dian use of Indian resources for the benefit of Native American Indian people.
Participants in the American Indian Foods program export beef strips, chillis, popcorn, wild rice, fry bread, garden produce, berries and berry products, American Bison meat, seafood/fish, mushrooms, jerky, oysters, apples, cran- berries, seasonings and other agricultural products. All products exported are traditional American Indian foods that are grown or produced in Arizona, Florida, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, Maine, Oregon, Massachusetts and Washington.
Each product is labeled by the respective Tribe or individ- ual Indian producer, illustrating the respective homeland where the product is produced. All products exported have the Made by American Indian certified trademark.
