Develop your career as an Engineer Surveyor
At Zurich we’ve been helping our customers to identify, manage and control engineering risk for over 80 years. Our continued business success and commitment to high quality customer service means we’re looking to recruit experienced Engineer Surveyors or UK Engineers wishing to train as Engineer Surveyors.
Salary: Total package £45k including an
excellent flexible benefits package, pension scheme, healthcare, bonus and company car.
We have some big
recruitment plans for 2010, so would like to hear from candidates based anywhere in the UK.
As an Engineer Surveyor you’ll carry out inspections and consultancy projects. Dependent on your discipline this will include inspections of lifts, pressure systems, electrical installations or local exhaust ventilation and lifting equipment within a defined district.
This is an interesting and challenging role working within a highly professional team. We will support you with significant training and development that will give you exciting opportunities to progress your career. You’ll be based at home with flexible working arrangements that enable you to plan your own work patterns.
We’ll expect you to hold a recognised academic qualification – HNC, HND, NVQ 4 or equivalent – in an engineering discipline. You’ll also need relevant practical experience in a related engineering field, ideally through a recognised apprenticeship and some direct engineering work.
To be right for this role you’ll need to be highly self-motivated with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
If you’d like to join a global business where your professional expertise is highly valued and rewarded, please get in touch.
