LIBRARY LOUNGE RESTAURANT/BAR The Library Lounge Restaurant/Bar will be added to the new mezzanine level to provide additional space. This room will serve an additional 100 people and serve a dual function: to accommodate meetings and events during the day, and operate as a bar/restaurant during evening hours so our audiences can enjoy a preshow dinner and post-show drinks. The kitchen and menu will be overseen by an award-winning chef. The lounge is designed by Rockwell Group founder and CEO, David Rockwell. The concept for the Library Lounge is derived from returning to the original use of The Public’s building, the former Astor Library.


JOE’S PUB During construction our food and beverage partner, Joe’s Pub LLC, will renovate Joe’s Pub. With improved sightlines, seating for everyone, and a new and improved menu, Joe’s Pub will be transformed into a more amenable performance space. The Public will relocate the entrance to Joe’s Pub to inside the main lobby, meaning that the Joe’s Pub audience will no longer have to wait outside before shows.
