is still more of a labor of love than a money maker for the couple. “I don’t have
any lofty goals of it (the blog) paying the mortgage,” she says. But back in March,
she never would have imagined having close to 100 people visiting her site each
day either.
Who knows? In the not-so-distant future, chatting with her cyber BFFs might not
only give them a peek at her life, but in return, perhaps it could also keep Totty in
cute peep toes, monograms and reusable shopping bags!
The origin of the name
A store in Raleigh called Boots ‘n Toddy sent our Totty in search of her very
own Boots. She first tried it out as a nickname for her husband, but happily for
him, fate intervened and presented her with a rescue dog who already answered
to the name. When the blog was born, it seemed only fitting to christen it with this
