++Funding options
In order to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy our breaks we fundraise to subsidise all our prices. In addition there are a number of ways of making your break more affordable. Give us a call to discuss your needs on 0845 345 1970.
+Local Authority funding
We can advise on possible funding sources from your local authority.
+External funding
Putting you in touch with other charities who may be able to provide funding.
+Direct grants
On a limited basis we can provide funding towards the cost of your break from Vitalise’s Joan Brander Memorial Fund. We want to ensure this fund reaches a wide group of people, so grants are unlikely to cover the full cost of a break.
+Paying by instalments
You can spread your break cost over a period of months to help you budget for your break.
+Vitalise Gift Vouchers
Give someone a unique gift with a Vitalise Gift Voucher. Each voucher is worth £25 and you can buy as many as you wish. Vouchers can be redeemed against most Vitalise services, including Centre breaks, and are valid for 24 months from the date of issue.
+For payment options call us on 0845 345 1970
+MS Society sponsored breaks
The MS Society has agreed to sponsor over 100 breaks at Vitalise Netley Waterside House and Vitalise Sandpipers for guests with MS. These breaks are available on a limited basis throughout the year and are priced at £100 lower than our published brochure price.
+Alzheimer’s breaks
Vitalise offers a number of subsidised weeks throughout the year specifically for guests with Alzheimer’s and partners/carers. See the Centre Calendars for dates and call us on 0845 345 1970 for prices.
+Nursing care costs
The prices (except Vitalise Churchtown) include the cost of personal care but exclude nursing care, which will be charged at the Registered Nursing Care Contribution (RNCC) rate (currently £106.30 per week). Guests who do not give Vitalise permission to recover this charge, or who do not agree to undergo an RNCC assessment, will be invoiced directly for the cost of their nursing care at the RNCC rate.
Please note service users receiving NHS Continuing Care packages will not be able to recover RNCC from Primary Care Trusts and will also be invoiced directly for the cost of their nursing care at the RNCC rate.
