We’d love to design your booklets for you –
ask us for a low price. If someone else has
designed them for you, or you’ve had a go
yourself, we can print directly from your fi les.
For best results, follow the advice in our File Supply
Guide – especially the section on Booklets. However,
if you’re in a rush and just need us to print what
you’ve given us, we can usually get acceptable results
from PDFs generated from Word, Powerpoint, Excel,
Publisher and similar applications.

Set your page size correctly:
A5 154x216mm
A4 216x303mm
Which allows us 3mm bleed on each side.
Keep all text and images at least 10mm from
the trimmed edge (13mm from the page edge)
Don’t use borders and avoid objects which
cross opposite pages
When you create your PDF, make sure you
embed all fonts
Create a single PDF with one page per page,
not “printer’s pairs” or “spreads”.
