Greek Life We currently have 13 national Greek organizations under three different
governing councils representing hundreds of Greek McNeese students. We are proud to

have six members of the National Panhellenic Council (NPHC), four members of the
McNeese Interfraternity Council (IFC), and three members of the McNeese Panhellenic
Council (MPC). Current NPHC groups include , , , , , ,

include , , and . T_hese groups provide hundreds of hours of community ser-
vice and raise thousands of dollars in donations for various local, state and national chari-
ties. Most of our Greek groups boast above average GPAs, and many Greeks are honors
graduates. Greek Life is highlighted in the fall with events such as the homecoming step
show and Campus Cleanup and in the spring with Greek

Union Board (SUB) You will hear a lot about SUB at McNeese because
SUB = FUN. Get involved with SUB and help plan events for welcoming back students,
homecoming, Black History Month, Spring Fling and much more! SUB is open to all Mc-
Neese students and has also hosted events like the Murder

SGA is ready to be your voice on campus.
Intramural Sports and Recreation
An intramural sports program for men

and women provides outlets for physical and
recreational talents of the student body. Intramural contests are held in flag football,

basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, free throw, table tennis, swim-

ming, sand volleyball, golf, horseshoes, pool, racquetball and bowling. Awards and
recognition are given to student winners. Students enter competition representing
fraternities, sororities, dorms, school clubs, organizations, religious student centers
and independents. MSU recreational facilities include: 50-meter swimming pool,
steam/sauna room, shower/locker rooms, four racquetball courts, three full-length
basketball courts, 8,000 square foot weight room, 200-meter indoor track, equip-
ment rental options, 12-acre intramural playing fields and outdoor tennis courts.
