ONE YEAR ON
It has been a busy 12 months
for Strategic Leisure since its
acquisition by Scott Wilson in June
2008. As well as ensuring the
practical integration of new systems
and structures, the team has
undertaken some interesting and
complex projects.
Recent international project
wins in Oman, Hong Kong and
Kiev are beginning to deliver the
benefits of an integrated approach
which has initially developed
through a number of UK projects.
These include a feasibility study for
a new leisure centre in Gosport,
which has involved planning and
transportation colleagues alongside
Strategic Leisure consultants
who have undertaken the needs
analysis, site assessments and
business planning. ■ Al Bander Marina is being reviewed in a yachting tourism study for the Ministry of Tourism in Oman
