Speak to any headteacher anywhere and they’ll tell you the same thing – the
rewards of the role are like no other. It’s a role that’ll change your life – and
the lives of those around you, whether that’s pupils or fellow teaching staff.
If headship is something you’ve been considering for a month, a year or your
whole life, now’s the time to submit your application for NPQH and make the
first step.
If you see yourself in one of the most challenging and rewarding roles in
education; if you see yourself nurturing a school and all those within it; and
if you see yourself doing all that within the next 12–18 months, you’ve got the
star potential we’re looking for.
The application process for NPQH involves demonstrating evidence of your
achievements and expertise against the six key areas of the National Standards
for Headteachers. Don’t miss your opportunity, you’ve got until 24 March to
