Dallas Interior Design Properties
The majority of the interior design showrooms in Dallas are within close proximity to each
other and within 10 minutes southeast of Love Field. Ample parking is available at and near
each facility. The following properties feature numerous showrooms offering a variety of
products.
Dallas Design Center (p.66), 1025 N. Stemmons Freeway, (214) 747-2411. The largest design
center facility in the region is conveniently located near downtown Dallas. To reach the
Dallas Design Center, take the Continental exit from Stemmons Freeway and make a U-turn
off the service road just prior to Continental onto Slocum Street.
Dallas Market Center (p.68), 2100 N. Stemmons Freeway, (214) 655-6100. The largest
wholesale merchandise mart in the world is comprised of six buildings, including the World
Trade Center. The Dallas Market Center is located on Stemmons Freeway at Market Center
Blvd., north of downtown Dallas along I-35. Amenities include restaurants, catering and on-

service operates during each day of market between all campus buildings, as well as from
select hotels. There are more than 14,000 free parking spaces at the DMC.

spacious, centrally located, new structure, located in the heart of the Trinity Corridor and Urban
River Development, is home to a collection of showrooms, creative and design firms, interior
decorators and restaurants. The building features numerous skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows
and exquisite landscaping and water features for a Zen-like feel.
The Design Streets of Dallas. In addition to the four major design properties, several area
streets, including Dragon Street (p.78), Slocum Street (p.88), Hi Line Drive (p.80) and Oak
Lawn Avenue (p.86) are lined with independent showrooms featuring fine furnishings,
fabrics, antiques, accessories and more. More showrooms are located north of the Design
District along the North Dallas Tollway at Lovers Lane (p.84).
