The more I read about the playground projects, the happier I was that I’ve supported The Trust for Public Land for several years, as modest as my support was. I come from a family of teachers; I keep thinking about what a wonderful project remaking a schoolground would be. It would include just about all of the subjects I taught to sixth graders for many years.

More allies for alleys Readers were inspired by our effort to turn miles of unused alleyways in Los Angeles into green community spaces.
