Ferrari World Abu Dhabi adds another Intamin ride


errari World in Abu Dhabi has now added a third Intamin coaster after launching Flying Aces and Benno’s Great Race last year.

166 metre track at 102 KPH through the glass funnel, propelling them vertically through the roof to the highest point on Yas Island at 64m, achieving zero gravity before they plummet vertically back down. Turbo Track is the third ride to be launched at Ferrari

Phase three will see the visitor experience evolve once more.” Turbo Track boasts what the firm says is the world’s first combination of a twin-LSM launch system, combined with a 0-g air-time hill on the acceleration ramp, allowing the riders to experience true multi axial Formula One forces. Having two queue lines, the actual journey starts at the station, where a transfer table running sideways, takes you to the launch of the 166 metre long track. The system allows two vehicles to be operated at the same time. Intamin’s LSM drive system catapults the vehicle to a speed of 102km/h followed by a 64m launch up and
