The Big City


“I’ve never seen anything like this in my life,” Zavier, a freshman student said while holding his phone out in front of his face, recording a video blog. “I’ve never been to Chicago,” he told a classmate as they made their way toward The Bean.


This sense of awe and appreciation would pop up again and again over the next 24 hours, but this wasn’t just a sightseeing trip. Students would have just as many “Ah ha” moments about expressing themselves and pursuing their interests, which is exactly why the trip was planned and why so many people worked together to make it possible.
