Other high-protein meat alternatives with strong growth include products within the traditional categories of dinner sausages and lunchmeat. In total, meat alternatives represent $900MM in sales with 10% unit growth and 11.3% dollar growth. Frozen meals have experienced a resurgence in
sales in large part due to innovation and marketing that correspond to consumer trends like protein. Along with protein bars, they represent two of the largest protein growth drivers. Grocery broth is an interesting up-and-coming protein source.
