Finnlines appointments Finnlines, part of the Grimaldi Group, has made two senior appointments. The carrier has named Thomas Doepel as its chief operating officer, while Mikael Lindholmhas been appointed as head of the newbuilding department. Both will answer to company president and ceo Emanuele Grimaldi.


Ports America president New Jersey-headquartered marine terminal operator and stevedore Ports America has selected Peter Levesque as its president with effect from February 2020. Previously, Levesque worked for Modern Terminals in Hong Kong as group managing director and ceo.


Gutsche takes Röhlig role Robert Gutsche will join Röhlig Group as its chief financial officer, effective March 1, 2020. Gutsche joins the company from IFA Holding where he served as the chief financial officer. He will succeed Hans-Ludger Körner.


Hartman in at Trail King Mark Hartmanhas joined the Trail King sales department as district sales manager. He will develop sales and dealer relationships in the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma for the trailer manufacturer.


Schuisdziara joins Hansa Meyer Hansa Meyer Global Transport has appointed Jan-Dirk Schuisdziaraas managing director, responsible for developing its network in the Americas, Middle East and Africa. Henrique Wohltmann, also managing director, will continue to oversee the company’s operations in Central, South and East Asia as well as in Europe.


Seif takes on Bansard sales Milad Seif has joined French logistics company Bansard International as global sales director. He has held senior roles at DHL Global Forwarding and Geodis. In his new role at Bansard, he will be in charge of all the countries at the trade and operations levels.

ichard Jones has joined G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group as an oil and gas solutions specialist.


Most recently, Jones served as director of


projects at Röhlig Logistics. With more than 30 years of experience, he has also held senior roles at DHL Industrial Projects and FH Bertling. Commenting on his new role, Jones said: “The


potential for the oil and gas sector in Cyprus is very promising and the next couple of years will see a


lot of investment. G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group is in a strong position to service these opportunities.” In addition to recent exploration success in the


eastern Mediterranean Basin, the adjacent Israeli offshore fields have also produced positive results with projects in both the upstream and downstream sectors materialising, said Jones.
