gateways to the country, have recorded a 55% cumulative growth since 2013 and reached 10.94 million passengers in 2018. Hermes Airports is pursuing growth of traffi c through close collaboration with local tourism stakeholders with a view to build demand and jointly showcase the abundance of Cyprus experiences. Operational excellence and customer


care remain key to the efforts, with an emphasis on serving customers by operating in an environmentally friendly, safe and socially responsible manner.


Major projects for 2019 • Development of a solar park which will generate 25-30% of the airports’ energy needs and will support sustainability initiatives.


• The redesign of the Commercial Area (Departures) will offer a new shopping and dining experience.


• Introduction of new technologies including mobile check-in counters, remote check-in and real time passenger info to facilitate the passenger journey.


• The Sense of Place which will communicate the sensory feeling of local nature, history and tradition, through a comprehensive and interactive learning experience.
