‘This crisis has shown our time is valuable – and needs monetising’ (ttgmedia.com)

Great article, Gemma. Very true but I feel many will remain scared to “value” themselves in this way for fear of not securing new, or retaining existing, clients. This would then mean for those brave enough to put a price on their expertise, potential client loss to others who provide expertise for nothing. The fact this debate still exists reflects the reluctance, which is a shame. Francesca Barone, Brilliant Travel

AAC: ‘We need airlines to work with us, not against us’ (ttgmedia.com)

While we all totally appreciate that these are extraordinary times, we can’t allow the goalposts to be changed by airlines

refusing to refund flights. We all want to retain bookings, and where possible are moving our clients to later dates. However, those who cannot travel later should be entitled to a full refund under Atol. If these guarantees are reneged upon now, when the public needs our assurances, it will affect the long-term confidence of the travelling public to book in the future and will cause an awful lot of distrust. It will also mean that Atol protection is not fit for purpose! Sue Alexander, Eagle Travel

Completely agree with you. However, I feel the speed the government is moving at is far faster than any wartime government has moved before. Karl Douglas, Beverley Travel
